Job Description
The Tinley Park – Park District is looking to hire a Part Time Bookkeeper for the main office of the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Processing payroll
Processing New Hire and other employee data and documents
Assisting the Human Resources Supervisor and Business Manager with the Annual Financial audits and other    projects
Taking on other bookkeeping roles (e.g. AP, Installment billing) as needed

This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  Previous experience in a Payroll Department and/or working with Tyler Technologies software is desired.  The qualified individual should have a track record demonstrating successful decision making, effective communication and team building skills. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree along with two or more years of work experience in a related field are desired.
